HOW CAPITAL SEWER MANAGED PIPE RELINING JOB CROSSING AURORA, ONTARIO GOLF COURSE
To paraphrase an old riddle: when is a sewer pipe like a golf game? Answer: when you have a hole in one.
That’s just the situation York Region engineers hoped to avoid when they planned a two-kilometre cured-in-place pipe relining job on an aging sewer line. The twist? Half of the project length crosses St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club, an 18-hole course that straddles both Aurora and Newmarket.Read More

This expansion is to support the volume of work obtained in the Winnipeg market and provide competitive services throughout Western Canada and Northern Ontario.
In support of the current market growth in Manitoba and anticipated increased demand throughout Western Canada and Northern Ontario, Capital has made a significant investment in new equipment that includes 3 new combo unit to its vehicle fleet.

CAPITAL SPECIAL PRODUCTS DIVISION TAKES DELIVERY OF CHANNELINE INTERNATIONAL GRP STRUCTURAL LINING SYSTEMS IN PREPARATION FOR THE CITY OF HAMILTON’S BRICK, EGG SHAPED SEWER RENOVATION, PILOT PROJECT.
Capital staff eagerly awaiting the commencement of the Grouted in Place Panel Lining project, which is due to start in late September, 2008. The contract, which involves the relining of approximately 615m of 900mm x 1350mm and 1200mm x 1600mm brick, egg shaped sewer on Barton Street, is a pilot program, which we hope will lead to more projects in the City over next few years.
CSS chose to use the Channeline International Ltd product because of their long standing track record for providing the highest quality, Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), structural lining panels in the world.
The GRP panels are custom designed to fit, as close to, the original sewer profile. Whether, round, square, elliptical or egg shaped, Channeline will manufacture panels to fit.
The panels are fabricated by Anticorrosion Protective Systems for Channeline International in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and are shipped by sea-container to North America.
Capital will take stock of 9 containers in total which house over 300, 2.2m long panels, each weighing between 800 and 100 lbs.
We anticipate that the project will be completed in less than three months.
Please visit our case studies page to see past Channeline projects and for an updated case study for the Barton Street job.
